Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium, located in Las Vegas, NV, is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League and the UNLV Rebels of the NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision. The 65,000 seat, 1.75 million square foot, state of the art domed stadium will host many world-class sporting and entertainment events. The stadium will also host large trade and corporate shows, public gatherings, private events, and a robust tour program.

Job Summary

The IT Systems and Event Operations Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining Allegiant Stadium's Information Technology network environments to assure system integrity and availability. The IT Systems and Event Operations Manager will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to the Network and Systems Engineer while also working with others to address operational matters or assist with new initiatives and projects. The IT Systems and Event Operations Manager is expected to implement technology best practices while also emphasizing a continuous improvement mindset. The IT Systems and Event Operations Manager will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to advancing Events IT needs by collaborating with Events, Sales, Finance and other departments.

Essential Functions

Oversee Allegiant Stadium technologies and services, including user-related incidents and requests in a Windows and Macintosh environment.
Supporting network, internet, and telephony systems by providing network, wireless access and telephony needs as requested by business stakeholders
Manage and deliver tech services for events held at Allegiant Stadium in addition to onsite support. Work directly with the various Allegiant Stadium teams or affiliates on initiatives to establish new/emerging technology components.
Manage and develop standard operating procedures for Allegiant Stadium to help manage and support its technology systems. Work directly with the AEG Digital Services/ASM Global corporate group to assure policies and procedures are being followed in addition to best practices.
Manage and schedule full-time, part-time, event support staff and third-party vendors that are needed to support Allegiant Stadium business as well as Events.
Employee onboarding, offboarding and changes, direction from HR and hiring manager, set up equipment, software, etc. for new users, collect equipment, shut off access for exiting, work with hiring managers to provide any IT support new employee needs
Manage and develop standard operating procedures to facilitate new hardware/software requests and tracking of all IT assets.
Manage all cellular 3rd parties with the assistance of Corporate Telecom team.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on venue technology and moving the business forward. Develop and execute plans that focus on operations excellence to increase overall efficiencies.
Keep inventory of technologies systems for Life Cycle Management and budgeting purposes. Work closely with Director of IT, Finance, and business leaders to establish budgets capturing capex costs for technology investments.


Required Qualifications

A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Computer Science
5+ years of experience in IT or Computer Engineering
Experience with Microsoft windows server, ecommerce website, compliance, and security (pci), amazon web services
IT Support experience
Experience with networking, telephony, troubleshooting, project management, and technical support
Ability to learn and problem solve
Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good Customer service skills
Microsoft, security, cloud, or technical certifications is preferred
