The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is an MLS soccer club serving the greater Los Angeles area. This position is responsible for managing the ingestion, formatting, display, and archiving of video, audio, static, and motion graphic content for all stadium A/V systems at Banc of California Stadium. The incumbent will also setup and operate control room equipment for ticketed and special events with particular emphasis on Ross Xpression LED display control. Additionally, this position is required to provide special event coverage for a wide variety of events at Banc of California Stadium, including the ability to independently setup, operate, and strike prosumer A/V equipment.
Coordinate content delivery, ingestion, conversion, formatting and display/distribution for all stadium events. Maintain all digital content databases and redundant backups, including archiving game and event program feeds.
Organize, prepare, build, and load digital video, audio, and graphic content for games and events in all stadium AV systems and control room components. Sources include but are not limited to: Ross Xpression (LED and CG), Click Effects, IPTV, etc.
Coordinate with Stadium Events department and third-party contractors as needed to determine content display needs and ensure all requests are met in a timely manner prior to games and events.
Create and edit graphic and video content as requested. Highly attentive to design details including: composition, typography, formatting, and spelling.
Build, design, and animate graphics natively in Xpression Designer/Studio.
Modify, export, and mockup graphics in Photoshop as needed.
Build out Excel/Google sheet workflows to acquire, send, and format for Xpression LED and CG display.
Integrate data sources into Xpression using DataLinq.
Program and operate LED boards during ticketed and special events.
Create and maintain Xpression project files; perform regular backups. Create templates in Xpression & Tessera.
Assist Engineer(s) with maintenance, technical implementation, and repairs of complex broadcast equipment, including control room components, HD cameras, audio systems, IPTV, video displays, and large-format LED displays.
Support Stadium AV department in show presentation at the direction of the Director/Event Manager/Producer.
Operate LED, video and/or graphic playback systems, audio systems, and other equipment as assigned.
Work with Director, Stadium Production and A/V and Head Broadcast and A/V Engineer to track and provide administrative support related to preventive, predictive and/or required repairs/maintenance.
Maintain solid written and verbal communication. Highly organized; able to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other departments.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Film, Television, Multi-Media, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Sports Marketing, Broadcasting, or other related disciplines required.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in professional sports production and presentation required.
Must have experience in event planning, production, and execution with a goal of maximizing guest experience. Familiar and comfortable with event venue operations and scheduling.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and other graphic/video editing software required.
Working knowledge of Ross Xpression or Daktronics Show Control systems preferred.
Willing to participate in ongoing training and continuing education to develop and maintain proficiency.
Knowledge of XML data feeds.
Basic understanding of audio and video fundamentals required.
General knowledge of - and experience using (or desire to learn) - typical control room technology and equipment, including but not limited to: multiviewers, digital video & graphic playback, replay systems, switchers, CG equipment, HD cameras (including RF, stationary & PTZ), camera shading & remote/robotic operation, communication systems, digital projectors, audio systems (including microphones, amplifiers, speakers, monitors, etc.).
Able to read and understand technical materials, including instruction/repair manuals, service contracts, agreements, warranty-related materials, CAD diagrams, blueprints, etc.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technical systems.
Must be proactive, organized, and resourceful with great attention to detail.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize efficiently and quickly.
Self-starter – able to work effectively with limited supervision.

Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular/extended hours in addition to regular business hours as dictated by the ever-changing stadium event schedule.
