Mississippi State University Athletics is seeking a Director of Broadcast Technology and Engineering to work with its Broadcast Operations Department.
Mississippi State Broadcast Operations Department produces events on ESPN and SEC Network platforms including linear and digital networks, as well as in-venue displays. The Director of Broadcast Technology and Engineering should be a self-starter who is extremely organized, able to work effectively alone or in a group, and can bring a positive attitude to work each day. Exceptional trouble shooting skills will be required and innovative solutions to complex problems will be necessary. This individual will collaborate with full and part-time staff to oversee that all broadcast equipment is in good working order, is setup in the proper manner, and is being operated appropriately.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. A minimum of four years in television broadcast engineering with one to two years in a supervisory capacity.
